Black Five Eyelet Wholecut Derbies

$ 1,690.00

These Black Derby shoes have been hand crafted using a whole cut pattern for a sophisticated and unbroken appearance, allowing us to really showcase the unique Arlington leather, our replica of the famous Russian Reindeer leather that was found in the wreck of the Catherina. Made in collaboration with the renowned century old Horween Tannery of Chicago. These Black Whole Cut Derbies feature a unique "cross hatch" texture that has been hand etched into the supple French box calf leather.

The Classica Collection is our first and still most popular line. Hand-lasted and welted by hand, it features our signature "swallow bird" burgundy shank sole, which is sewn by hand with a traditional Duer machine.

Part of our Classica Collection, these shoes come with individual wool dust bags, lasted wooden shoe trees and our leather maintenance kit with wax, small brush and spare laces, all in a beautiful wooden box for proper storage.

Material: Arlington calf

Product Code: C5361

The T last has been conceived to provide an easier fit (especially to customers with a low instep) and a rather contemporary look, blending the width of the C last with the length of the J last and a medium-to-low instep which allows the shoe to efficiently contain the arch and push the foot back towards the heel box. The first and best advice we can give is to always think of your shoes as an organic object, subject to elements and time alike everything else. Let them rest: after using your Stefano Bemer™ shoes for a day or two, let them rest for a day with their lasted shoe trees. Keep them clean: assuming the shoes rested at least over night, brush them off in the morning, when they are dry. Moisturize them as needed: leather, like our skin, tends to dry-up. We suggest regular use of a moisturizing shoe cream. Protect them: while shoe cream refurbishes colors and moisturizes the leather, our bees’ wax polish is intended to protect it from elements. We recommend to apply wax once the shoes have been completely moisturized and one shoe at a time. Respect them: sometimes, the word or assistance of an expert is required. If your shoes are not reacting properly to your maintenance routine, please feel free to consult with us.
