Did you know that the pied-de-poule, or houndstooth, pattern was born around 200 BC? It belongs to the traditional Scottish Tartan Fabrics Family, and was mainly diffused in the Scottish Lowland, near the Anglosaxon border, that's why its also called Border Tartan.

The warm and “busy” design makes it belong to the more casual part of the tailoring spectrum, so we paired it with a cashmere turtleneck (sorry, it’s sold out! But we’re accepting pre-orders for the new drop that will be arriving in the summer… Email us if interested!), Nightingale-Brown cotton velvet trousers and an evergreen semi-brogue cap toe oxford shoes in Chelmer Museum calf. Can you feel the coziness of the outfit as if you were already in it?
